A hundred years ago, Cheung Chau was devastated by a plague. The plague had ceased after the local residents set up an altar in front of Pak Tai Temple. It then evolves to Bun Festival, which is launched every year to thank the god's protection. During the Festival, there are parade, lion dance, drum beating and an exciting Bun Scrambling Competition on a tower of buns, which attract hundreds of tourists.
Hong Kong's culture is very distinctive. POSTalk POP-UP Greeting Card is a paper sculpture art which illustrates a perfect combination of the beauty of traditional Chinese paper craftsmanship and Hong Kong local cultural elements. Besides, we collaborate with Local Sheltered Workshop on the manufacturing that makes our products truly Made in Hong Kong. Each card included an envelop and an information card to show the cultural story behind. It is the best gift to share Hong Kong culture with your friends and families.
