Pottinger Street is one of the oldest streets in Central district and is granted Grade 1 historic status. In the steeper session of Pottinger Street, granite steps and surfaces are retained. It is also locally known as "Stone Slab Street". There is featured by green tin hawker stalls lying along the street which sell accessories and handicrafts.
